The Sustainable Foods Summit has been postponed due to measures implemented in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak.
The summit had originally been scheduled to take place in Amsterdam on 7-8 June but has now been moved, tentatively to 16 – 18 September. Exact dates will be confirmed once they’ve been finalised with the venue, Mövenpick Hotel.
In a statement, Amarjit Sahota, Director of event organiser Ecovia Intelligence, said: “Since the health, safety and wellbeing of summit participants is of utmost priority, we have decided to postpone the Sustainable Foods Summit”.
Mr Sahota said that the sessions and topics will remain unchanged – more of which can be read about here.
“We will ensure the event will be following the recommendations of national and international agencies to ensure all health and safety precautions are carried out so there is a safe conference experience,” he said.
“We have not taken this decision lightly since re-scheduling takes additional resources and investment.”
