Ritter Sport Group has completed the purchase of Creative Natural Products, the Colorado-based business behind the Chocolove brand. The deal strengthens the German company’s position in the US premium chocolate market as it builds out its North American presence.
Chocolove, established in 1995, will continue operating from its Boulder facility, producing its existing range of bars, cups, bites, mini formats and seasonal lines. The acquisition brings an established US manufacturing base into Ritter Sport’s portfolio, supporting its wider growth strategy across the region.
Ritter Sport USA, the company’s recently formed American arm headquartered in Chicago, gains a local production capability through the move. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
