Tracktile secures funding to expand AI tools for small food manufacturers

Tracktile has raised USD 1.25 million in Seed funding to scale its AI platform for small and mid-sized food and beverage manufacturers across North America. The investment round was led by BDC Seed Venture Fund and Island Capital Partners, with additional backing from Graphite Ventures.

The company develops an AI-driven operational system designed to give smaller producers the kind of real-time visibility and automated intelligence usually found in larger enterprises.

“Small and mid-sized food manufacturers have always been underserved by technology, they’re running complex operations with limited visibility, fragmented tools, and constant pressure to do more with less.” said Jordan Rose, CEO & Co-Founder of Tracktile. “Tracktile exists to give these teams the same power, intelligence, and real-time awareness that only the largest factories could previously afford. This funding allows us to accelerate that mission and make AI accessible to every producer.”

Food manufacturers across the region continue to face rising input costs, labour shortages, tighter traceability rules, and growing expectations around transparency. Many operators also rely on outdated systems that make it difficult to track performance or respond quickly to disruptions. Tracktile’s platform is positioned to address these gaps by consolidating production data and providing an integrated operational layer that supports quicker, data-led decisions on the factory floor.

The new funding will support further product development and the expansion of Tracktile’s predictive models. It will also enable the company to grow its footprint in the North American food production sector and strengthen onboarding support to help smaller manufacturers implement AI without significant operational upheaval.
