St Martin’s Courtyard becomes a hive of activity

Buzzing with activity throughout the year, St Martin’s Courtyard is home to 150,000 honeybees. Safely tucked away on the rooftops of the courtyard, the three hives generate 10,000ml of honey annually, with a five year history of pollination.

St Martin’s Courtyard, a bespoke shopping and dining destination in the heart of London’s Covent Garden, has partnered with independent coffee house, Department of Coffee, and Social Affairs to offer visitors the chance to enjoy this local and exclusive honey with their breakfasts. There are two sizes of jars available to buy over the counter, a taster jar of 30ml available at £1, and a larger 110ml jar at £3 to enjoy with Granola, yogurt, or toast with all proceeds of the sales going to London’s leading homelessness charity, The Connection.

Department of Coffee & Social Affairs are renowned for giving back to the local community through their charity work, and in light of this collaboration have created a special homemade honey, pear and pistachio cake with all profits from the sales going to The Connection. The exclusive jars of honey are available to buy at Department of Coffee & Social Affairs from Friday 24th July.
