From one direction unicorns and rainbows and from the other a world first in flexible packaging – emission and solvent free printing.
Several of National Flexible’s customers have taken advantage of this unique sustainable option which combines water-based inks with its Enigma printing process. The factory is powered by hydroelectricity offering huge savings in CO₂ emissions. Several of its customers are saving in excess of 880,000 kgs of CO₂. The inks also generate a cost saving of around 47% when compared to the gravure equivalent, a significant saving.
The company’s long-standing customer, Battle Hayward and Bower, provides the UK with the most extensive range of animal health, equestrian and pet care products around. Battle Hayward and Bower prides itself on its forward-thinking approach, constantly investing in the latest technology and facilities to provide its customers with an accurate, efficient and complete end-to-end service. This clearly applies with its choice of packaging. National Flexible’s Enigma allows higher image resolution, greater contrast and an amazing depth of colour which was perfect for ‘The Little Unicorn Treatz’ range, by Little Rider.
