Leading corrugated packaging manufacturer, Durham Box, has been awarded a AA grade BRC certification for its manufacturing site in Bishop Auckland, Co Durham. Under the revised issue 5 of the BRC Standard for Packaging and Packaging Materials, a AA grade is one of the highest awards that a business can achieve within the certification scheme.
The BRC certificate streamlines the supplier approval process and makes it easier for suppliers to the food manufacturing sector to meet the requirements of the BRC Food Standard, while also helping retailers and food manufacturers adhere to their legal obligations.
