Plasfilms joins the FPA

Films distribution business, Plasfilms, has confirmed that it has recently joined the Foodservice Packaging Association (FPA) by becoming a national distributor member.

The FPA membership is comprised of members who are involved with food and foodservice packaging at some point along the supply chain. This includes raw material and machinery equipment suppliers, packaging manufacturers, distributors and retail brands, foodservice and hospitality operators, waste processors and recyclers.

Matt Wood, Plasfilms’ product development manager, said: “With our target market being the food industry, we want to develop our knowledge and understanding of new market trends first-hand – the FPA provides us with the opportunity to achieve that. Plus, we are confident that we can create a wider awareness of the Plasfilms brand and our offering.

“In return, we can provide members with a deeper understanding of the film conversion market and, importantly, where we see consumer focus.”

Plasfilms is one of the UK’s leading distributors of films and supply chain services for businesses across the UK packaging and labelling industry. Their portfolio of packaging films includes BOPP, PET, CPP, heat shrink films, rigid films, PVC and SANZIP re-closable zippers.
