Western Mechanical Handling (WMH), a production line automation specialist, said it will “continue to operate as normally as possible” to meet its current and future orderbook commitments.
The message from the Cornwall-based company come as the coronavirus crisis intensifies in the UK. As of writing, 2,626 have tested positive for the virus.
In a statement, WHM said: “We have implemented a robust hygiene routine throughout our plant and have ceased all unnecessary site visits. Staff will continue to be available in our office to deal with your queries for as long as is possible.
“We are monitoring the government advice which is changing daily and will update you on any changes that may impact on our abilities to meet our commitments.”
The company added that it “remains committed to maintain good relations with its customers at all times”.
