McDonald’s has extended the scope and scale of its delivery service in the UK and Ireland after partnering with Just Eat.
Just Eat has now become the fast food giant’s second exclusive partner for McDelivery having recently rolled-out its delivery capability in the UK.
Since launching in 2017-18, McDelivery has proved popular with customers in the UK and Ireland.
This latest announcement with McDonald’s follows Just Eat’s recently announced delivery partnership with high street bakery chain, Greggs.
“This partnership, along with our recently announced relationship with Greggs, will require significant investment but will accelerate our growth ambitions and enhance our market position by offering our customers the widest choice available,” said Peter Duffy, Just Eat’s interim CEO.
