Removal of condensation notonly minimises the risk of microbial con-tamination to food, but also reduces therisk of water dripping on the floor. This can lead to the spread of contami-nation on operatives’ feet as well as increasing the risk of slips.Condensate collected via the squeegee can be analysed both chemicallyand microbiologically in order to provide additional information in the de-velopment of food safety risk assessments. Equally effective on different surface types, the Condensation Squeegee, colour coded in five colours, can be operated without halting production.Made from FDA-compliant material, the squeegee can also be sterilised athigh temperatures between use.005-010:Layout 1 19/12/11 08:31 Page 3newsNew low cost wireless solution totemperaturemonitoringSignatrol has launchedSpydaq, a new affordablewireless temperature andhumidity monitoring sys-tem.
