It willinstead offer lower regular prices, which it believes willmake it easier for customers to save on products theyactually need.Customer research shows multi-buys are out-of-stepwith today’s shopping habits and Sainsbury’s customershave responded positively to the gradual removal ofmulti-buys over the past 12 months in favour of lowerregular prices. For customers this means that they willhave more flexibility to buy what they need, when theyneed it, because the regular price of those products willbe affordable every day rather than when that product ison a multi-buy promotion.Since March 2015 Sainsbury’s has removed morethan 50 per cent of multi-buy promotions from itsgrocery business in favour of lower regular prices, whichcustomers have responded well to. Sainsbury’s marketing director, Sarah Warby, added:“Careful management of household budgets, a growingawareness of the cost of food waste and more health-conscious living has driven a trend away from multipleproduct purchasing towards more single item purchasing.”Don’t just think plastic… Go plastic!01323 744057 | sales@goplasticpallets.comOur plastic pallets and boxes offer a more durable, hygienic and cost-effective solution to other materials.
