Our sales team together have more than ahundred years’ experience in plastics, which is invaluable in giving our customers the best adviceand service. What achievement in your career are you proudest of?Aside from our steady growth, it’s our ability to develop strong partnerships with manufacturersI’m most proud of. We are sole UK distributors of CABKA-IPS pallets, SmartFlow pallets andGamma-Wopla boxes and accessories manufactured in Belgium, Q-Pall pallets manufactured in theNetherlands, and have close links with a number of other manufacturers throughout Europe. What recent innovations in the sector have you been most impressedby? As the demands from clients are becoming ever more complex, it’s the ability of manufacturers toinnovate and adapt to meet these challenges that impresses me. We’ve recently adapted one of ourpool pallets by adding anti-slip strips for a major contract with Rumaillah Warehouse Equipment, who are using the pallets to store and transport duty free goods. What new markets do you think will be the most important in the nextfew years? For us it’s the retail sector, which is expected to grow by 2.4% this year. Currently there are majorsupply issues of pallet timber in the UK . There is an opportunity for UK retailers to improve theirsupply chain logistics by operating their own pool of plastic pallets, which are safer to handle thanwooden pallets, less susceptible to damage and breakages and can reduce contamination risk.Stay in touch withFood & DrinkInternationalFor more up to the minute informationfrom the food and drink industry, visit Food& Drink International online.
