About a dozenof the shrink packing linesneeded elevation in some stagesbetween the first and secondshrink wrapping and thepalletizing stations, but therewas no space available. So, together with theintegrator, AmbaFlex salesengineers analysed the differentflows and lines in the layout andcame to a clever and compactsolution. Analyses showed that ifthe 300 and 500-wide flows ofshrink packs could be combinedinto specially designed dual-lanespirals, the issues could besolved. A special SpiralVeyor® SV X500/300 was then designed, most ofwhich are now in operation. The complete spiral conveyor turned outto be very compact at only 2500 mm in diameter.
