However, around half of pregnancies in the UK are unplanned, somany women are missing out on these nutrients early in their pregnancy. The plans to fortify flour with folic acid are thought to be an effective way of reaching thosewith the lowest folate intakes – for example younger women from the most deprivedbackgrounds. The consultation, announced by Public Health Minister Steve Brine, will also consider if thereare any risks to other members of the general public.Campaign group calls for ban on sugar-laden ‘freakshakes’Action on Sugar is calling for a ban oncalorific milkshakes including theInstagrammable ‘freakshake’ sold in highstreet restaurants and fast food chains afterits new survey exposed excessive levels ofsugar. For example, the survey found that familyrestaurant Toby Carvery sold the most“shocking shake” which its ‘UnicornFreakshake’. This needs to beachieved without affecting the natureof the product and in a cost-effectivemanner. Therefore, minimising thecost of stabilisation whilstmaintaining wine quality remains aconstant driver. To extend theoperational life of the final SupaPore VPWS membrane filter, AmazonFilters recommends using a SupaPore FPW pre-filter. The advanced borosilicate glass microfibre media in SupaPore FPWfilters provides significant advantages due to its enhanced depthcharacteristics and exceptionally low-pressure losses. This is combinedwith a downstream polypropylene media to support and strengthenthe system. The optimised pleated depth design of the SupaPore FPWoffers high flow rates, excellent dirt holding capacity and superiorretention levels making it a perfect prefilter.04-12.qxp_Layout 1 19/11/2018 09:23 Page 5*Source: Barclaycard Pop-Up & Experience Economy Research, OMD & The Drum 2018.Support line opening hours are 9am–5pm, Monday–Friday (excluding bank holidays).
