It provides accurate and repeatable flow measurementreadings for full pipe liquid applications such as cooling lines, Zone metering, water distribution and applications where system shutdown is not feasible. The TFX Ultra is also available as an energy flow meter measuring energyusage in kWh, mWh and BTUs, and is ideal for retrofit, LTHW / MTHWcircuits, chilled water and other HVAC applications. The unit is designed to simply clamp-on to the outside of existing pipe, reducing installation time and material costs. There is no need to shut downthe process for installation or maintenance, therefore the TFX Ultra can beinstalled and fully operational in minutes. The TFX Ultra features a rugged, compact aluminium enclosure, easy-to-read digital display, bi-directional flow measurement, and a totalizer featuringforward, reverse and net total, and Modbus or BACnet communications.Email: sales@bellflowsystems.co.uk www.badgermeter.co.ukNEMEX Stand M2Torishima Torishima (Europe) Projectshas been selected as a finalist inthree categories at the WiltshireBusiness of the Year Awards.TEP is in the running to becrowned overall Business of theYear, and has also been putforward as a candidate in theSmall Business of the Year andInnovation and Growthcategories. This is treated by a two-stage effluent plant that combinesflocculation for solids removal andAnaerobic Digestion. The solids are removed by mechanicalmeans and the liquor sent to the ADplant which generates methane gas usedas fuel for a biogas plant, providing on-site electricity. The coffee production site was usingan imported Magnesium Hydroxidesuspension which required agitatedstorage and dedicated pumps, thereforethe initial trial with liquid lime involvedsimply filling it with high strengthNeutralac SLS45. It has a lower viscosityand is less abrasive than the Magnesium-based product and therefore a simple,low-risk swap. The dosage of Neutralac SLS45replaced both Magnesium Hydroxide andCaustic Soda, the pH control wassubsequently deemed excellent with theAD running well and the highersolubility of Neutralac SLS45 meant thatless reagent was needed to maintain pH. Furthermore, the Calcium content ofNeutralac SLS45 proved beneficial to thesustainability and health of the AD plantbacteria. The bacteria agglomeratedforming larger flocs of biomass, seedingon the lime particles. The main benefit in changing toNeutralac SLS45 has been the remarkableimprovement in the AD plant. The biogasoutput from the digester increasedsteadily which increased power outputfrom the biogas station to a sustainableself-financing level. Neutralac SLS45 is the fastest growingliquid lime in the UK and has proven tobe an efficient and cost-effectivereplacement for both Caustic Soda(NaOH) and Magnesium Hydroxide ineffluent treatment plants across the UK.Field trials and a full range of storagevessels, pumps and controllers areavailable to prospective customers whotake up the ‘free trial’ offer.Liquid lime improves AD infood effluent treatmentRoyal Mint, Chemtura and Nu-Pro are just a few Neutralac SLS45 customers, across many industries, treating their acidic effluent with the UK’s fastest growing liquid lime.
