Shaking up the summer drinks menu

Operators are being encouraged to shake up the summer beverage menu by adding new drink categories and enticing, profit boosting recipes, taking inspiration from the new SHOTT Summer Recipe Collection 2025 which is now available to download.

Business owners focused on delivering a full day’s trade need to cater for a multitude of palates seeking new experiences, appeal to all generations and fill around-the-clock trading gaps with unique flavour pairings to meet consumer expectations, as Louis Dobson for SHOTT Beverages explains:

“It’s all about the experience. Consumers are moving away from traditional AM and PM drinks e.g., cappuccinos and gin and tonics, to more unusual, hand crafted beverages served though the day. The SHOTT Summer 2025 Recipe Collection incorporates SHOTT ‘super concentrate’ real fruit based syrups across six drink categories: coolers; lemonades; iced Matcha; iced coffee; milkshakes and ENERGY, with delicious, easy to prep recipes that capture the sun kissed flavours of summer including:

Strawberry and Wild Mint Cooler

Method

Add 10ml SHOTT Mint and 15ml SHOTT Strawberry syrups to the glass

Fill the glass with still or sparkling water

Garnish and serve

 

Honeycomb Iced Coffee

Method

Add 30ml SHOTT Honeycomb syrup into a glass

Fill ¾ of the glass with ice

Add milk (or alternative) to the glass so it is nearly full

Add your double espresso to the top

Serve and enjoy!

 

Mango Iced Matcha

Method

Add 2g of Matcha to 50ml of water (80 degrees)

Add 30ml Shott Mango syrup into a glass

Fill ¾ of the glass with ice

Add milk (or alternative) to the ¾ line

Top up with your Matcha mix

Serve and enjoy!

 

ENERGY Peach and Mango

Method

Add 30ml of Shott Peach and Mango ENERGY into a glass

Fill ¾ of the glass with ice

Fill the glass with still or sparkling water

Garnish and serve
