All Dressed Up Dressings and Dot Dot Tea shine in Pitch Live at Speciality & Fine Food Fair

All Dressed Up Dressings and Dot Dot Tea have secured a listing on Ocado after pitching live to a panel of judges at Speciality & Fine Food Fair as part of Pitch Live sessions.

Each year, Pitch Live gives up-and-coming brands the opportunity to pitch live to a leading retailer and secure a much sought-after listing and chance to expand their reach.

Matt Hopkins from IND!E was joined by Charmaine Trotman, Buying Manager at Ocado Retail, Jade Vincent, Biscuit Buyer at Ocado Retail and Freya O’Mara, Trading Manager, Pantry and Speciality Foods at Ocado Retail, Nicole Barron, Senior Buyer at Ocado for Spirits, Tobacco & RTDs at Ocado Retail, and James Jane, Senior Buyer at Ocado Retail, to hear pitches from eight food & drink brands across two sessions and pick a food product and drinks product winner.

The winners of the food Pitch Live and drinks Pitch Live will receive a listing within the IND!E Shop on Ocado, exposing the product to a wide audience of consumers interested in speciality food & drink.

Tessa Reed, Founder of All Dressed Up Dressings and winner of Food Pitch Live, comments: “I’m absolutely overwhelmed and super excited. To get something like this within our first six months of launching is amazing and it’s all thanks to the Fair!”

The judges commented positively on the product’s taste and the quality of the pitch along with the passion and market knowledge shown.

Yandis Ying, Co-Founder of Dot Dot Tea and winner of Drinks Pitch Live, says: “We’re very grateful, this show is alive with global trends. We’ve loved meeting everyone and we’re feeling a lot of support from the community.”

The judges commented on the massive commercial opportunity in the UK for bubble tea, the product’s fantastic branding, great taste, compelling story and the fact that it’s all natural.

Nicola Woods, Event Manager for Speciality & Fine Food Fair, comments: “We love partnering with IND!E and Ocado to provide this amazing opportunity for new artisan brands to take a huge leap forward in their journey. Congratulations to both the winners, you smashed it!”
