Dantex unveils next-generation Aqua X at Labelexpo Europe 2025

Dantex is set to make a major impact at Labelexpo Europe 2025 with the launch of its Aqua X, the company’s most advanced flexographic plate processing solution to date.

Making its debut on booth #5E73, the Aqua X brings new levels of speed, efficiency and sustainability to water-wash plate technology. The unveiling comes as Dantex also reintroduces the popular PicoColour digital press – now improved to deliver even greater accessibility and performance for label converters.

The Aqua X represents the next generation of Dantex’s renowned Aquaflex processing range. Specifically designed to work with the company’s advanced Aquaflex plate technology, the new system is a fully automatic, high-speed, water-wash solution. Offering unmatched reliability, efficiency and productivity, the Aqua X establishes new benchmarks in solvent-free flexographic processing.

Key features include a Dantex Easy Access System, cloud-based online connectivity, integrated black mask removal and extremely low water and energy consumption. With a fully adjustable throughput speed, the Aqua X delivers consistent plate processing with outstanding print quality, including fine halftone resolution from 1% to 99% up to 200 lpi.

Alongside the Aqua X, Dantex will also showcase its newly relaunched PicoColour press. Compact, versatile and affordable, the PicoColour provides high-quality digital output within a small footprint, making it an ideal solution for printers seeking flexibility without compromise. Also on show will be the high-performance PicoJet DRS, with live demonstrations highlighting impressive speed, precision and reliability in digital UV inkjet printing.

Ben Danon, CEO of Dantex Group, said: “The launch of the Aqua X marks a major step forward in sustainable flexographic plate processing, bringing real benefits to productivity, reliability and print quality. Together with the PicoColour, we are offering customers both groundbreaking pre-press and digital press technologies that meet today’s demands for efficiency, performance and cost-effectiveness.”

Visitors to booth #5E73 will also have the opportunity to discover Dantex’s comprehensive range of pre-press and consumables, including sleeves and imaging equipment. Representatives from across the Dantex Group and its global distributor network will be on hand to provide demonstrations, technical advice and support.
