The team behind the PPMA Total Show® 2025 have confirmed the manufacturers secured for the event to date and offered a preview of the some of the innovative technology visitors can expect to see in action.
Organisers Automate UK have confirmed that amongst the exhibitors at the UK’s largest processing and packaging machinery, robotics and industrial vision event, which will take place at the NEC, Birmingham from 23-25 September, are Reiser, IMA Ilapak, Coesia Group, Bradman Lake, Adpak, SMC Pneumatics and Ulma.
Now in its 38th year, the PPMA Total Show® 2025 will give visitors access to insight from a host of expert speakers and practical demonstrations of the latest state-of-the-art technology created to enhance and future-proof operations.
Scott McKenna, Chief Operating Officer, said: “There has been significant interest in the event so far, and we’re now able to highlight some of the world-class innovations being demonstrated during the PPMA Total Show® 2025, all of which have been developed to to streamline operations, optimise performance, minimise human error and reduce costs for businesses.
“The show has become a must-visit event for industry professionals from across the entire manufacturing spectrum, and we are confident that the diverse range of sectors serviced, the scale of products and innovations being exhibited and the calibre of expert speakers we have secured will impress and inspire even the most discerning visitor,” added Scott.
Amongst those innovations will be the Hugo Beck Flow Pack R, and Gary the Gantry 2, both of which are being demonstrated by established world-leading specialists in drive technology Sew-Eurodrive, the Vyper Vision System, which will be showcased by renowned manufacturers of metal detectors and X-ray inspection systems Fortress Technology, and the Alantra P+, the creation of global liquid and powder filling, packaging automation, and wet-wipe machinery supplier Shemesh Automation UK.
The Beck Flow Pack R, Sew-Eurodrive’s new sustainable paper packaging machine, is equipped with advanced drive and automation components to significantly reduce energy consumption, while allowing a high-speed packaging process, while the business’s flexible, reliable multi axis gantry system, Gary the Gantry 2, combines MOVIKIT® prebuilt automation modules to make gantry design and operation easy, extra-low voltage drives for safety and flexibility, and the StarterSET modular automation package for easy configuration.
Fortress Technology’s newest innovation, the Vyper Vision System, has been designed to enhance quality control processes in high-care food production environments, using cameras and image capture technology to automate label inspection, including pattern matching, barcode reading and optical character recognition that may otherwise be vulnerable to human error.
The business says that while the system can dramatically reduce waste by detecting process flaws early in the production process, its key advantage is realised when combined with other inspection technologies such as metal detection and checkweighing, creating a single, robust inspection system that maximises line efficiency, ensures product integrity, and strengthens compliance.
The Alantra P+, a high-performance automatic filler-capper monobloc, was developed by Shemesh Automation UK to meet the demanding needs of modern packaging operations across the cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and food and beverage industries. Combining servo-driven piston filling and a multi-capping system, it handles a wide range of closures within a compact, space-efficient footprint.
The system’s automated handling of missed caps helps prevent downtime, while integrated closure inspection and height checks support consistent product quality and reduce human error.
In addition to giving attendees access to more than 350 exhibitors and over 1,500 brands, the PPMA Total Show® 2025 will also provide them with extensive networking opportunities, including an exclusive reception sponsored by Rockwell Automation on the first day of the event.
Additional exhibitors confirmed for the PPMA Total Show® 2025 include Ilpra, PFM, Festo, Videojet, Mettler-Toledo, Somic, Romaco, Omron and Schubert.
