Ardent Mills publishes FY25 ESG report

Ardent Mills has released its fiscal year 2025 Environmental, Social and Governance report, detailing performance across community programs, workplace inclusion, sustainability initiatives, and ingredient development.

The company reports donating over 3.4 million meals and recording 12,655 employee volunteer hours in North America. Its partnership with Partners in Food Solutions generated $6.1 million in economic development across 12 African countries. Agricultural education programmes reached more than one million students.

In workplace inclusion, Ardent Mills implemented Project Elle, a $5 million initiative improving accessibility and equity across its facilities. Participation in employee resource groups increased by 22%.

Sustainability metrics include 42.9% renewable energy use, 516,000 acres enrolled in regenerative agriculture, and the elimination of over 240,000 pallet wraps, resulting in a 92.3% reduction in plastic consumption and avoiding 68 metric tons of COe.

The company also launched Cocoa Replace and expanded Egg Replace to support customers in cost management, supply chain resilience, and functional alternatives. ESG oversight involves board-level governance, senior leadership, and employee engagement aligned with four UN Sustainable Development Goals: Zero Hunger, Decent Work, Responsible Consumption, and Climate Action.
