CPA and F4SS merge to strengthen support for food and CPG sectors

The Contract Packaging Association (CPA) and the Foundation for Supply Chain Solutions (F4SS) have merged to create a unified platform for contract manufacturers and brand owners in the food and consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry. The merger is designed to meet the increasing demands and challenges facing the sector, which is projected to reach a market value of $130 billion by 2028.

Together, the CPA and F4SS will serve hundreds of companies across the manufacturing, packaging, and branding sectors. The food and CPG market is experiencing rapid growth and disruption, driven by the rise of private labels and shifting consumer expectations. At the same time, regulatory pressures related to food safety, sustainability, and labelling are tightening.

The combined organisation will provide enhanced resources for navigating these changes. By merging the CPA’s expertise in contract packaging with F4SS’s supply chain optimisation, the new entity will offer greater industry insights, improved visibility across both traditional and emerging brands, and better access to a network that connects contract manufacturers with decision-makers from large corporations to start-ups.

The merger also aims to speed up innovation and improve regulatory compliance, ensuring members stay ahead in an increasingly competitive market. Members will benefit from a broader knowledge base, including expertise in private label efficiency, emerging brand innovation, and traditional manufacturing leadership.
