Inproba boosts output to meet rising private label demand

Dutch sauce manufacturer Inproba is expanding production capacity by 20% following upgrades to two of its main manufacturing lines. The move comes in response to growing demand from private label clients for Asian sauces, particularly soy and sweet chilli varieties.

The infrastructure overhaul is scheduled for completion by the end of June and marks the initial phase of a broader investment programme backed by new ownership. Amsterdam-based private equity firm Value Enhancement Partners acquired the Baarn-based company in February 2025.

The upgrade will enhance Inproba’s ability to meet volume commitments and explore new business opportunities. The company employs 200 staff and is a key supplier in the European private label sauce segment.
