Tyson Foods to remove select additives from US branded products

Tyson Foods will eliminate high fructose corn syrup, sucralose, BHA/BHT, and titanium dioxide from its US branded product range by the end of 2025. The initiative covers brands including Tyson®, Jimmy Dean®, Hillshire Farm®, Wright®, State Fair®, Aidells®, and ibp®.

The move follows earlier steps to remove petroleum-based synthetic dyes from domestic branded products. All ingredients being removed are approved for safe use by the FDA.

This voluntary programme is part of Tyson Foods’ broader strategy to reduce sodium, sugars, and other food additives while maintaining product quality, taste, and brand integrity. It aligns with the company’s operational focus on providing safe, sustainable, and high-quality food to consumers.
