William Grant & Sons (WG&S) has finalised the acquisition of The Famous Grouse and Naked Malt brands from The 1887 Company. This deal further strengthens WG&S’ presence in the global Scotch whisky market, aligning with its long-term growth strategy in the spirits industry.

With these additions, WG&S now owns several renowned brands, including Glenfiddich, The Balvenie, Hendrick’s Gin, and Monkey Shoulder. The acquisition underscores the company’s commitment to expanding its portfolio in a competitive market.
A dedicated team has been assigned to oversee the transition, ensuring that both The Famous Grouse and Naked Malt continue to meet customer expectations. This move is seen as a crucial step in WG&S’ strategy to build on its established legacy and accelerate the global reach of its new brands.
