Ella’s Kitchen brings back festive makeover of best-selling melty sticks to raise funds for little ones in need this Christmas

Ella’s Kitchen, the UK’s largest baby and kids’ food brand and certified B-Corp, has brought back its on-pack partnership with children’s charity Action for Children for a second year, to raise money for vulnerable little ones and their families this Christmas.

The partnership, which raised more than £91,000 for Action for Children last year, will see Ella’s Kitchen’s best-selling Sweetcorn + Carrot Melty Sticks swapping out its usual packaging to instead feature Rudolph, who has traded his famous antlers for Melty Sticks.

The on-pack partnership will hit the shelves from the beginning of November, and will remain in stores, including Asda, Tesco and Sainsbury’s, until stocks last. 30 pence from every pack sold will go directly to Action for Children, who support vulnerable families and little ones across the UK.

In addition to the on-pack partnership, shoppers on the Ella’s Kitchen website will also be given the opportunity to become a ‘Secret Santa’ by rounding up their purchase on the online shop; all in a bid to raise funds for Action for Children’s annual Secret Santa campaign.

Action for Children’s Secret Santa campaign aims to help vulnerable children and their families experience the magic of Christmas. By donating and becoming a Secret Santa, supporters could help a vulnerable child feel the magic of Christmas, and donations could go towards essentials like warm clothes, a hot meal, or a special present just for them.

The on-pack and online partnership is the latest in a line of activity from Ella’s Kitchen since the brand named Action for Children as their charity partner in 2022.  Since then, Ella’s Kitchen has worked with Action for Children to raise funds, donate stock, raise awareness of policy and advocacy campaigns and much more – all in a joint effort to improve the lives of the under-5s and create a country where every little one grows up happy, healthy and never hungry.

Tim Collins, Managing Director, Ella’s Kitchen said: “We are very excited to be bringing back our festive Melty-Sticks to raise even more funds for our charity partners Action for Children. Our Sweetcorn + Carrot Melty Sticks are already a best-seller, and with their festive make-over we’re hoping to raise funds to help support some of the children, and their families, who could use some magic this Christmas, while raising awareness about Action for Children’s important work.

“With 4.3million children living in poverty in the UK – 50% of whom are from families with a child aged under-5 – we know that it is on all of us, from businesses, charities to members of the public, to step up and create a future where every little one grows up happy, healthy and never hungry”.

Katherine Woods, Director of Fundraising, Action for Children said: “Right now, 4.3 million children are living in poverty across the UK. This is why the generous support of our partner Ella’s Kitchen is so vital for Action for Children. Together we are achieving such brilliant things for the vulnerable children, young people and families we support UK-wide. From raising vital funds, including via our Secret Santa campaign, to amplifying Action for Children’s voice and supporting us to reach new audiences – we cannot thank Ella’s Kitchen enough! Our partnership is so valuable. Together we are providing more children and young people with the safe and happy childhood they deserve.”
