Coca-Cola adds new hydration line to Powerade portfolio

Coca-Cola is broadening its functional beverage offering with a new extension to its Powerade range called Powerade Power Water. The drink is positioned as a zero-sugar, electrolyte-enhanced water aimed at consumers seeking performance hydration options.

The new line is available in four flavours: mountain berry blast, strawberry kiwi, tropical pineapple, and watermelon. Each variant contains 50% more electrolytes than comparable products, according to the company.

Powerade Power Water has rolled out across major retail channels in the United States and is expected to launch on Amazon in 2026. The expansion underscores Coca-Cola’s continued investment in the fast-growing functional beverage market, as brands compete to capture demand for low-calorie, electrolyte-focused drinks that bridge the gap between water and sports performance products.
